This delicious and healthy (yes, both!) bibimbap I created for We Rub You is chock full of nutrients and flavors. Quinoa, kale, red cabbage, mushroom, and carrots with sunny side up and sweet spicy gochujang sauce. The sauce is SO GOOD it will make you want to eat a bucket of kale. Trust me on it.
THE CURE-ALL = CHICKEN CONGEEIf a homemade chicken congee can't cure what ails you, I don't know what to tell ya. This deeply soothing bowl could probably bring you back from the dead. After homemade pho, this is my absolute favorite. Like, I seriously couldn't be friends with you if you wouldn't eat this.

With silky-soft scallops, your body will swoon with deliciousness that's a cut above. Mmm, my mouth is watering.

SMOKED SALMON + LEEK QUICHEI had a leftover lox, some asparagus and dill. And all I could think about was quiche with a simple salad of greens and ripe tomatoes with grassy olive oil all over. The asparagus shaving add freshness to this unctuous and flaky pie. Truly comfort in a pie.
RATATOUILLEWhat late summer has to offer. Tomatoes, Zucchini, Squash, Eggplant, Oregano, Thyme, and Garlic baked into an earthy, gardeny delight. These veggies will show you how meaty they can be.
AGLIO, OLIO, E PEPPERONCINOMy all time favorite pasta dish - nothing but really good quality olive oil, garlic, chili peppers, and lots of parsley!!! Simple, yet because it's so simple, it needs the perfect balance. Definitely one of my top 5.
GREENMARKET THANKSGIVING SPREADI'm a firm believer in quality over quantity - and that applies to Thanksgiving meals as well. I know it can be a daunting task to be responsible for a delicious Thanksgiving spread for friends and family. Not so much if you focus on the quality of the ingredients as opposed to the number of dishes you have to make. This simple spread was entirely powered by small farmers at the Union Square Greenmarket, and it couldn't have tasted any better! Stay simple and local and you will wow your friends and family that much easier.
