I got this fresh trout from a farmer at the Greenmarket in Union square, and when I asked him what the best way is to cook this fish, he suggested just simply pan frying it. So I added a little nuttiness to it, and did so with some hazelnutty brown butter. And as far as the potato salad is concerned, nothing is bad when extra parmesan is involved. 'Nuff said, huh.

Nothing like Rhubarb to celebrate spring and all that warmer, sunnier weather has to offer. Truly zest of the season, what is there not to like when it's also pretty in pink?

I have nothing against mayo, but personally I think butter brings out the flavor of the lobster a little better. This was definitely one of the best lunches I ever made.

Thin crust, sweet garlic confit spread, smoked mozzarella, Prosciutto de San Daniele, blistered and fresh cherry tomatoes, preserved lemon, and micro basil to top off. The sweetness from the blistered tomatoes, meatiness of smoked mozzarella, saltiness from the prosciutto, then that fresh citrus pop of preserved lemon comes through to cleanse the palate. My mouth is watering just writing about it. Ohhh...
Perfect for that day you need an instant boost of energy - chocolate shells are chewy with a nice egg-shell crunch, and loaded with bitter chocolate/chicory coffee ganache, and vanilla bourbon milk jam. It's seriously addicting, especially around 4pm.
